X-Treme Bullets' projectiles utilize a copper plating applied electrochemically to a precision swaged lead core. The base of the bullet is also fully coated in copper. The process starts with a lead billet that is extruded into wire. The lead wire is then swaged into a core. The cores are copper plated, then re-struck once more. Though not common in the industry, this restrike process produces a bullet that is more uniform, with a more precise diameter and a smoother finish for a better shooting and a better looking bullet.
About Remanufactured Ammunition
Freedom Munitions operates a "like-new" process on remanufactured ammunition, using new projectiles, powder and primer to ensure the factory ammo performance that discriminating shooters expect. Every cartridge case is inspected for defects. Our Scharch Range Master machines are fully automated and each case is checked for any debris and pressure tested for any splits or cracks. Primers are removed, flash holes are cleared, and primer pockets are reamed to accept new primers. From that point the cases are acid washed and sized by our own designed machinery for commercial resizing to meet S.A.A.M.I specifications.SKU | FM9R147R50 |
