Purchased this ammo for my model 29. Functioned fine and plenty of power to make the steel plates "dance" at 25 yards. In fact, I was worried it was going to break the chains with a couple of my shots. Can't speak for the auto mag issue, but I wouldn't hesitate to use in a wheelgun. Also, this ammo is far superior to aluminum case "new" ammo that I tried for cheap target shooting. They swelled in the cylinder and wouldn't extract, so I would go with reloads in brass any day. I purchased 100 rounds of the reloaded 44 magnum 240 grains, which was a good buy! Upon using these rounds in my Desert Eagle 44 Auto Mag, I thought there may have been something wrong with my weapon. I even tried using different magazines to see if it was the cause of the rounds not ejecting after a round has been fired. After putting a few rounds in the other magazines and careful inspection of my weapon, I came to the conclusion that there was not enough gun powder in the rounds to cycle through my weapon. I recommend purchasing new rounds for an auto 44 mag instead of reloads as the reloads are okay for a wheel gun. (Posted on 10/11/2017)Stars - Not CyclingReview by Ed

This was my first purchase of ammo from LAX Ammunition. I purchased 100 rounds of 44 mag reloads and upon using them in my Desert Eagle 44 Auto Mag, the rounds did not cycle. I thought it may have been the weapon or even my magazines. After trying my other magazines and carefully checking my weapon, the conclusion I came up with is that there was not enough gun powder in the rounds for them to cycle. I love the prices however, I would not recommend purchasing reloads unless it's for a wheel gun. (Posted on 10/11/2017)Stars
