Bought this because the price was reasonable. Took it to the range and ran it through my "Dirty harry" Smith & Wesson Model 29 in 8 3/8" barrel. Could not have been happier. My 17 year old grandson shot it as well. It is a true magnum loading but not one that rattles your teeth. Grouped exceptionally well and burned very clean. Not so great for a Marlin 1894Review by John

Works great in my Ruger revolvers, not so much in my Marlin 1894 lever guns. I've never had this problem with any ammo in my Marlins, but after reading more about what others have experienced I learned that the diameter of 44mag can vary between .429 and .430 and sometimes this .001 variance can cause accuracy issues.

All other ammo I've purchased has been great from LAX ammo, this stuff just isn't accurate in my Marlin lever guns. (Posted on 5/25/2018)

Tried shooting this out of a S&W Model 29. It keeps building a lead deposit at the top of my forcing cone which is preventing the cylinder from rotating. I've run between 50 to 100 rounds of this thinking there might be an issue with the revolver trying to figure out what might be the issue since this was the first ammo I'd personally run through it. Then in the past week I tried a different brand and it ran 50 rounds with no issue. Extremely disappointed. (Posted on 6/28/2017)

Bought 'em shot 'em , no problems . I'll buy more . Shooting through my Ruger Redhawk . .44 semi auto shooters should know that you need really hot loads to cycle the slides as in the ol' Ruger carbines & Dessert Eagles & such . (Posted on 5/1/2017)

It unfortunately probably is at the advertised velocity. Will not cycle a Deagle. Other than my crying I will say if you have a revolver it will shoot like a warm special. Quality brass and just overall clean looking. Would give 5 stars if it hit 1300 fps or even 1250. (Posted on 10/20/2015)

FIVE STARS FOR SURE! Mr. Feldman's review very candidly explained he was shooting it in a Desert Eagle. Most of us don't shoot guns quite that exotic, and the full-house .44 mag in most revolvers that you can actually carry is very hard to c has about 1/3 more punch than the best .40 and .45 loads, and it's very controllable. Very accurate, and in the 250 round can, it's $22.50 per 50 rounds. To summarize, it's a perfect .44 carry load, and a steal at this price. (Posted on 10/20/2015)

Bought the 44 Mag loads, Each time I shoot I end up bleeding from debris coming from the load. Only load I have a problem with. Not real clean shooting. 44 special is no problem. (Posted on 10/20/2015)
