What methods of payment does LAX Ammo accept?
LAX Ammo accepts ONLY the following forms of payment: Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express.  We do NOT accept Checks, Money Orders, Paypal, etc. Only one form of payment may be used at checkout. 
How do I check out?

To get to your shopping cart, please select the shopping cart image near the top right of the page. A drop down will show all items in your cart, you may then select "View All" or "Proceed to Checkout". We now feature an easy 6-Step Checkout where guests may continue as a Guest, or Register an Account. Here you will also have the option of shipping to a separate location than your Billing Address. As always, we offer two shipping carrier methods: UPS Ground & FedEx Ground/Home Delivery. There are no expedited options available. Please verify all information is correct on your order before proceeding as there is a 15% restocking fee for all cancelled orders.

How can I get a shipping quote and where to enter Coupon Code?
To get a shipping quote, please add any items you would like to purchase to your shopping cart. Selecting the shopping cart image near the top right of the page, and click "View All". You will then be directed to a page where you may enter any coupon codes, as well as calculate a shipping quote after providing your state and zip code.
I tried to checkout and now all of my items show they are no longer in stock.
Please know that items placed in your shopping cart does not place a hold on those items, nor does it withhold them from being purchased by another customer. Only a confirmed payment guarantees the purchase of an item.
When will my order ship? Will I be notified?
All orders require 1-2 business days to process and will be shipped the following business day (Monday - Friday). We are unable to ship on weekends and on holidays. All orders placed on a weekend will be shipped the following business day (Monday- Friday) after the required processing times. PLEASE BE ADVISED: During Holiday sales and weeks our Shipping Times MAY Be Delayed! Please contact customer service with further questions. You will be sent an email confirmation of shipment along with tracking information once your order is processed for shipment. Please note: Shipments DO require signature upon delivery for confirmation and security purposes. NOTE: IF YOU CHOOSE TO AUTHORIZE YOUR PACKAGE TO BE SHIPPED WITHOUT A SIGNATURE REQUIRED YOU ARE RELEASING FULL LIABILITY FROM LAX AMMO.  We can not change that option once the package is shipped! Fedex does NOT allow an option to hold packages at shipping locations if unavailable for delivery.  Please follow through with tracking information sent via email on fedex.com.  Home Delivery & Ground shipments may not show tracking until item has reached the 1st facility in transit.
I was not home to sign for my package, now it is being returned to you!
In the event that your package is being rerouted to our facility after failed attempts of delivery, we are unable to re-direct it back to you until it has been delivered to us, per shipping carrier policies. Once we have received the returned goods, we will contact you via email and require authorization for additional shipping charges and reshipment. If you are unwilling to pay for the additional shipping fee, your order will be cancelled minus the original shipping rate, as well as the 15% cancellation fee. (Please keep in mind, this fee helps cover the shipping costs to have it shipped and returned back to us. This can always be avoided by selecting "No Signature Required" at checkout, allowing packages to be left at your door.
Can I add to or cancel my order once it has been submitted?

During normal processing times, once an order is submitted it is immediately sent to the warehouse for packaging/shipping. Therefore, if you are going to cancel your order, you will have to let us know immediately and please note there may be a 15% cancellation fee.  PLEASE NOTE: Once an order has processed and shipped from our warehouse, we are unable to further cancel an order.  If you need to add any additional items to your purchase, please contact us immediately to make any changes. If it has already been processed, we can only cancel the order and the cancellation fee may apply.

How will my order be packaged?

Pre-packaged cases come ready-to-ship from the manufacturer. These packages may have their logo, item description, quantity, etc. Other packages will come in unmarked boxes (except for ORM-D stamped on Box). For the safe arrival of your items, all packages require signature upon delivery unless waived by the customer. For privacy issues, you may request to have your items packaged in unmarked boxes by stating under the Customer Notes before checkout.

I received my order damaged, now what?

In the event that you receive your packages and there is damage or appears to be items missing, please contact our customer service department immediately. We will most likely require pictures to show the damage and may need to open a claim with the shipping carrier. The claims process may take up to (8 business days) and will result in (partial/full) refund or replacement, depending on case.

What if I need to change the address of my package and it has already been shipped?

Once an order has processed and shipped from our warehouse, we may, but do not guarantee that we are able to change the shipping address. If possible, there is a rerouting fee of $12.50 that will apply. (Price subject to change per shipping carrier fee.)

Do I need to send my FOID and Identification Card?

FOID and Identification cards are required for ammunition sales from Illinois, New Jersey and Connecticut:

It is your responsibility to follow up with LAX Ammunition to make sure we have received your information. These MUST be current, valid, & completely legible. Orders will be processed & retained until sufficient documents are submitted to and received by LAX Ammo. Ammo can only be shipped to an address on one of those two documents. * If you have supplied this information to LAX Ammo for past orders, please note in the "comments" section of your order, "Required IL Documents s/b on File."

I am a New York resident; can I have ammunition shipped to me?

We are only able to ship to those who hold a Federal Firearms License or Seller of Ammunition Permit for the state of New York. There are many gun or sports shops that offer a service to receive ammunition; however, may charge a fee. It is your responsibility to provide a copy of their document in order to process your order. The shipping information on your purchase MUST be addressed to the FFL holder.

Does LAX Ammo only sell ammunition in case quantities?

For the most part, LAX Ammo offers the best pricing to our customers by a large or case quantity basis.  We do however, offer smaller quantity purchases on specific or specialty items, that of which is noted on the item description. All quantity options can be found in the drop down box.

What is LAX Ammo's return policy?

LAX Ammo strives for 100% customer satisfaction and offers returns on OUR LAX Manufactured Reloads & Factory New brand ammunition (not brand name ammunition ie. Federal, Winchester, etc.) ONLY if defective. We ask you to please notify us immediately of any issues so we can address them promptly. Once we have received and determined the item defective, we will issue a refund or exchange in proportion to the amount of product returned.  Otherwise, please note that all sales are final.

Can I pick up my order?

Sorry, but we do not allow will-call or pick ups for orders placed online. All orders placed with laxammo.com will be sure to follow our delivery and shipping deadlines.

Can I pick up the same item, for the same price at the Range & Ammo Store?

No, our website www.laxammo.com is separate from the Firing Range and will not honor online prices, or vice versa. We also, again, do NOT allow orders to be picked up from the warehouse/range. For more information on the difference of our online store and retail shop, please click the "Website Only Deals" image.

Do I have to pay sales tax?

Sales tax will be applied to all purchases shipped to locations within California. Tax will not be added to any order purchased out of California.
